Abodu ADUs are prefabricated units that look amazing with our standard finishes. They come “out of the box” decked out with high-end finishes and an aesthetic that will blend into your design choices seamlessly.

If you’re looking to customize your unit, we’ve got high-end options and upgrades to fit the look you’re going for. With Abodu, the hardest choices you’ll need to make will be how to finish your space. Our concierge-level service from start to finish means we take care of all the other difficult decisions and project management.

Abodu finishes that come standard in every unit:

First things first: what do all Abodus have in common? Besides designs that maximize space, light, and functionality, every Abodu has the following standard finishes:

Standard interior finishes

• Tall cathedral ceilings.

• Waterproof stain-resistant wide plank LVP flooring in our “Light Oak” look.

• Soft-close cabinet drawers and doors.

• High-efficiency LED lighting.

• Ductless AC and heat system.

• Solid core, extra-tall doors.

• Matte black cabinetry.

• Kitchen appliances, including dishwasher and garbage disposal.

• Quartz countertops.

• Tiled kitchen backsplash and shower stall.

• Black fixtures and hardware.

Standard exterior finishes

• Fiber cement horizontal lap siding in one of our Custom Paint Colors (or match the color of your main home).

• Glass entry door paired with a 6-foot wide window.

• 4ft by 4ft wood landing and stairs for your deck.

• Composite shingles in black for your roof.

Upgraded interior options for your Abodu

All of our options and upgrades have been vetted and chosen by world-class architects and designers, so you know whatever finishes you choose will fit with the look of your Abodu. Here’s the interior options you can choose from:

• Waterproof stain-resistant wide plank LVP flooring in our “Classic Oak” or “Dark Oak” look.

• Matte white or natural grain finished kitchen cabinetry.

• Fisher & Paykel kitchen suite appliances, including a dishwasher drawer unit.

• All-in-one washer/dryer unit or stacked washer unit and dryer unit.

• Chrome fixtures and hardware.

• Tiled bathroom floor with curbless shower.

Note: Upgraded stacked washer and dryer unit available in the Abodu Two.

Exterior upgrade options for your Abodu

Each of our Abodus has a show-stopping silhouette and finishes that upgrade the look of every backyard. But if you’re looking for something more personalized, here’s your upgrade options:

• Fiber cement vertical board and batten siding in one of our custom colors or matched to your main home.

• Natural or dark stained vertical cedar siding.

• 9 foot wide, 3-panel glass folding door with 10ft by 4ft entry deck.

• Larger deck options including ramps.

• Standing seam metal roof in black.

Add-ons for your Abodu

Create your dream ADU with these optional add-ons. Some add-ons are only available in certain Abodu units, which are labeled below:

• Abodu Studio: Built-in wardrobe closet.

• Abodu Studio: Built-in murphy bed with integrated sofa and open storage hutch.

• Custom bench with cushion and built-in storage (colors vary depending on which unit you choose).

• Abodu One and Two: Hanging concrete pendant lights.

• Bathroom and kitchen cabinet accent lighting.

• Utility monitoring to track electrical and water usage.

• Solar panels.

• Gutters.
